Cityscape as Art Space
Cities are becoming testing grounds for new forms of cultural practice. Cityscape as Art Space looks at how artists, designers, and curators work within real urban conditions — using existing infrastructure, commerce, and daily flow as part of their medium. Examples from Tokyo and Europe reveal how creative initiatives can reshape how people engage with their surroundings without resorting to spectacle. The discussion will also address practical questions: how to collaborate with municipalities, how to sustain projects over time, and how to measure their impact. It’s a conversation for those interested in art that doesn’t wait for a gallery wall.

T3 x SEEEU: New Perspectives
Photography is shifting — from framed images to fluid narratives that unfold across media, space, and collaboration. T3 × SEEEU: New Perspectives brings together Japanese and European artists and curators to exchange views on how photography reflects, constructs, and questions the contemporary world. The discussion explores how local contexts and global circulation shape new visual languages. It also asks what “photographic practice” means when boundaries between still image, video, installation, and performance keep dissolving. Presented in partnership with T3 Photo Festival Tokyo, the talk offers a candid look at where photography is heading next.

Art Auction for Ukraine
An evening of solidarity and art hosted at the Embassy of Belgium. The Art Auction for Ukraine gathers works by European and Japanese artists to support Ukrainian refugees living in Japan. More than a fundraiser, it’s a gesture of empathy and collaboration — showing how artistic communities can respond to crisis with care and initiative. Organized with the EU Delegation and the Belgian Embassy, the event continues the tradition started by Human Baltic in Tokyo, where creativity becomes a form of action.
All artworks are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, are limited reprints of original artworks and issued by authors. Participants can pay in cash or bank transaction. Artworks are sold framed in 40x50cm metallic frames.
All proceeds go to Japanese charity working with Ukrainian refugees in Japan (charity organisation to be announced soon).
